Hi, I'm Barb Gallagher and I want to share my passion for standard poodles with you.

 

The poodle is one of the most sensitive and intelligent animals.

I began breeding several years ago to try to improve these wonderful dogs. With me, it's a passion, not a business.

 

I am very selective about breeding. I do not have a set schedule and only breed when I feel that I can improve the line. All our puppies are whelped and live with us in our home. I will not sell to pet stores or anyone other than carefully screened individuals who will provide good homes and keep in touch with me about their puppy's progress.

 

Rosebar Standard Poodles are bred with the utmost care taken to produce the kind of poodle we want to see in the breed ring, as well as in other areas of competition. Physical characteristics are important, but excellent health and temperament are my priorities. In addition, I seek to breed for versatility. While most of our poodles are breed champions, many are obedience titled. Some are doing field and service work.
